Editorial standards

Useful first. Clear about our point of view.

These standards guide every current and future article published by the Brandiseer team.

Updated 9 September 2026

Our principles

  • Give the useful answer early. Readers should not have to pass through a sales pitch to reach the practical guidance.
  • Separate fact from judgement. Product details and pricing should be verifiable; recommendations should explain the reasoning behind them.
  • Be clear about incentives. Brandiseer is our product. Comparisons that include it are written from that disclosed company perspective.
  • Prefer specific guidance. Checklists, examples, and trade-offs are more useful than broad claims.

Sourcing and comparisons

Claims about another product should link to a primary source whenever possible, including official documentation, pricing, release notes, or the product itself. Material claims should be checked again when an article is meaningfully updated.

Comparisons should describe the job each product is suited to, its trade-offs, and where Brandiseer is not the best fit. We do not present marketing opinion as independent product testing.

Product mentions and calls to action

An article may contain no more than one contextual Brandiseer callout. It should appear only after the reader has received useful guidance. Standard publisher information is added separately and should not be turned into another sales block.

Bylines, review, and AI-assisted work

Articles use the shared “Brandiseer team” byline and are reviewed before publication. The team may use AI tools to assist with research, structure, or drafting, but the Brandiseer team remains responsible for the published claims, recommendations, and corrections.

Updates and corrections

A meaningful change to the guidance should add an updated date. Straightforward spelling or formatting changes do not require one. If a factual error changes a reader’s decision, we correct it promptly and review related articles for the same issue.
